“Grab a razor blade and draw a bath. I doubt anyone will miss you.”
That’s what Adam Richman said to a user after his heated exchange on social media. Who is Adam Richman? He was the star on ‘Man Vs Food’ and his show “Man Finds Food” was supposed to air tonight…until it got put on hold.
In a statement to ABC News, Richman said he is sorry for his “inexcusable remarks.”
Here’s the full story:
Richman’s comments started after he put his 70-pound weight loss on display for the latest issue of Cosmopolitan UK, and then Instagrammed a picture with the hashtag “thinspiration.” This hashtag didn’t go over so well with everyone. Why? The word can often be associated with anorexia and commentors took to social media to let Richman know. He then fired back with his own remarks — including one regrettable comment: “Grab a razor blade and draw a bath. I doubt anyone will miss you.”
Heres Richman afterwards: “I’ve long struggled with my body image and have worked very hard to achieve a healthy weight,”
I understand that controversy sells, and now more people are talking about his show than before, but it doesn’t make what he said right. Anorexia is a serious problem in this country and shouldn’t be joked about. He should of seen this coming – Binoj
