
POWER 96 Internship Program offers students real business exposure within various departments. To become a POWER 96 intern, review your academic status with your professor/advisor and mail your resume along with the required letter of credit for further consideration. Your resume will be reviewed and if a suitable position is available you will be contacted by Human Resources for an interview.

WPOW, Power 96 is currently looking for you!
We are seeking hard-working, highly motivated students for internships in the promotions department of one of our local radio stations.
Intern will have the opportunity to learn about and get involved in: General office duties, working one-on-one with listeners and contest winners, hands on experience of writing copy, writing public service announcements, updating of press lists, participation in planning and execution of on-site events, and learning the day to day operations of the radio business.
We offer a flexible schedule and an opportunity to earn college credit while learning all aspects of the radio industry. Internships are for college credit only.

The Internship Program Guidelines are as follows:
-Students must be enrolled in undergraduate or graduate school. Undergraduate Junior and Senior year students are preferred. Qualified Sophomores can be considered.
-Students must be eligible to earn credit through the college/university they are currently attending by submitting a letter of credit eligibility from their Academic Advisor indicating how many credits they will earn.
-As internship positions vary at POWER 96, students should be aware that positions require between 20 and 30 hours per week.
